Dr. Dominik Buschmann is Head of Laboratory Operations and Infrastructure at Plectonic Biotech, ensuring seamless R&D processes by establishing the necessary structure and resources for optimal efficiency. With a strong background in molecular biotechnology and operational management, he brings expertise from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Johns Hopkins University (JHU) to support the company’s growth. Having worked in highly regulated industries, he combines precision with adaptability to meet the evolving demands of a dynamic biotech environment. Dominik earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biotechnology from TUM, where he specialized in transcriptional biomarker discovery using Next Generation Sequencing in patient derived extracellular vesicles.
